Find a software converter able to convert XPS documents to MOBI ebooks.
There probably is no way how a document exported to a XPS format could be converted as a MOBI ebook, i.e. perform direct xps to mobi conversion.
Nevertheless, in case the .xps file was made from Microsoft Word, you need the original .doc or .docx files and these can be easily converted to MOBI. Otherwise, you would have to somehow copy the text from .xps to a new document file and convert that to .mobi file.
Unfortunately, there is no detailed software record in the database for this conversion.

Files with xps extension are almost always documents that were exported or printed in Microsoft Windows with the default Microsoft XPS Document Writer virtual printer, for example in MS Office applications. XPS format is Microsoft's much less popular alternative to PDF for fixed layout exchange documents.
Files with xps file extension might also be found as exposure sheets from MonkeyJam graphics animation program.
An xps file extension is related ot hte WindowBlinds and used for its temporary data.
MOBI
Files with mobi extension can be typically found as e-books saved in Mobipocket format, now mostly used by Amazon.
