Check out some options how aae files might be converted to jpeg format.
It is simply not possible to convert .aae files (iPhone picture metadata) to JPEG format. AAE format contains special metadata for an actual JPEG image, it does not contain the image itself.
Perhaps you can view the .aae file using a text editor and look for the file path to the actual image, but it should be typically located at the same folder as the .aae file.
