Because the OXPS format is scarcely supported and can be opened mostly only using the default XPS Viewer from Windows 8/10, you may want to convert it to standard XPS format, which has better support in 3rd party programs.
You can do this, for example, with Microsoft's command-line program called XpsConverter, which works in Windows 7 and higher.
The syntax for conversion of the .oxps file to the .xps file would be:
XpsConverter /XPS /InputFile=sample.oxps /OutputFile=sample.xps
However, it may be possible that more such tools with more user-friendly GUI will eventually appear because the XPS/OXPS format frustrates many users.

OXPS
Files with oxps file extension are documents created in Windows 8/10/11 using the latest version of the Open XML Paper Specification. You can easily view *.oxps files using the pre-installed Windows XPS viewer, but only in the latest versions of Windows. For older versions of Windows, you will need to convert oxps to xps.
XPS
Files with xps extension are almost always documents that were exported or printed in Microsoft Windows with the default Microsoft XPS Document Writer virtual printer, for example in MS Office applications. XPS format is Microsoft's much less popular alternative to PDF for fixed layout exchange documents.
