Importing tabs to Guitar Pro. How to save to old versions of Guitar Pro.
The vast majority of people searching for pdf to gp3 conversion are interested in either importing PDF tabs to or from Guitar Pro or producing a specific version of Guitar Pro files for someone who only has access to the original software.
Importing PDF files to Guitar Pro has always been problematic and often worked only for PDF documents that were previously exported from the software. Tabs in PDF format from other software do not work. The usual workaround consists of using the MusicXML format as a medium to facilitate the export, or any other ASCII based standard.
