Find a software converter able to convert pdf files to slddrw files.
pdf to slddrw conversion is almost always searched in context of import of 3D PDF files to SolidWorks, something that is not possible directly, because SolidWorks does not support this function and 3D PDF files are not really suitable for this task anyway.
However, all is not lost. Older versions of Acrobat and some 3rd party tools were able to export 3D PDF files to STL/STEP files that can be imported to SolidWorks, unfortunately this functionality was removed in later version of Acrobat, with version 9 being the last that had this option.
Alternative to this is to search for some of the commercial converters for 3D PDF format that can handle SolidWorks formats as well, for example Tetra4D.

A pdf file extension is mainly used for Adobe Portable document format, commonly referred to as PDF. All programs that create some sort of documents or projects offer the possibility to export their format to PDF format. A free PDF viewer (Adobe Reader) is available for download from Adobe website.
Rarely, files with pdf file extension might also be found as preferences definition files for ArcView program.

Files with slddrw extension can be found as CAD drawings from SolidWorks program by Dassault Systemes.
