A png to kmz conversion might be related to a potential export of GPS data from photographs saved as .png files, something that is unfortunately not likely. PNG format usually does not contain any GPS data and these are typically saved in some kind of auxiliary file attached to it. Only the GPS data can be exported to KMZ format.

You can most likely also turn maps saved in .png files to KMZ format, but these will lack any GPS data.
