File extension mcpr is best known for its use in the default replay format used in the popular Minecraft sandbox game.
mcpr files are essentially zip files that contain the recorded replay (instructions, not video) in chunks and packets represented by .tmcpr file(s).
These files are used to review and watch replays of the playthrough via the in-game replay function.
The Minecraft Replay Mod can be used to convert these files (their playback) to MP4 format.
MCPR format is intented for Minecraft only.
Direct conversion is not possible, but with the Minecraft Replay Mods users can interpret and convert the playback to MP4 format.
