The RKV format is a proprietary archive format used by Star Wars: The Clone Wars - Republic Heroes, a third-person action-adventure game. RKV archives package game data used during play.
The game reads these archives from its installation files on Microsoft Windows. They are part of the game's internal file set rather than documents intended for independent use.
On Microsoft Windows, an RKV file should remain in the Star Wars: The Clone Wars - Republic Heroes installation directory. Launch the game normally and it will read the archive as needed.
There is no standard desktop application intended for opening these files directly. Do not rename or edit an RKV file, because the game may no longer be able to load its data.
RKV files are proprietary game archives and do not have a standard conversion format. They are not normally converted to another format.
If the goal is to use the contained data outside the game, a dedicated tool supporting this specific game's archive format would be required. In normal use, the file should be kept in its original form.
