Sword of the Stars is a space 4X strategy game developed by Kerberos Productions and released in 2006 for Microsoft Windows. The game uses SHIPSECTION files as part of its ship data.
A .shipsection file contains spaceship data. It is a game-specific resource rather than a general-purpose document format.
Open the file with Sword of the Stars on Microsoft Windows. The game is the appropriate program for loading and using this type of ship data; a .shipsection file is not normally opened as a standalone document.
There is no standard conversion for a .shipsection file. It is game-specific data rather than a document or interchange format, so the file should be kept in its original format.
