Cnversion of Word DOCX to MDI. DOCX to MDI converters.
Considering MDI images were used only in Office 2003, and Word's DOCX format was introduced in version 2007, it is likely that there is no direct way how to convert DOCX to MD. However it should be possible to save the docx to doc, and then opening the DOC in old Word 2003 and export it in MDI format.
Unfortunately, there is no detailed software record in the database for this conversion.

DOCX
Files with docx extension are documents written and saved using Microsoft Word word processor edition 2007 or later. DOCX format replaced the previously used DOC format, moving from binary files to Open XML schema-based documents. They are supported in almost every modern word-processing tools.
MDI
An mdi file extension is associated with the Microsoft Office Document Imaging file format. An mdi file contains graphics data in high resolution. Only supported in Microsoft Office 2003 and 2007 with MODI tool that comes as part of the suite.
An mdi file extension is related to the MIDI audio file format.
Files with mdi file extension might also be found as multiple document interface files from Borland programs.
