skp to 3d conversion is searched as a way to export SketchUp design files (SKP format) to any other 3D format, often in situations when users do not have access to SketchUp itself.
The free version of SketchUp supports only export to STL when it comes to 3D formats, and only the PRO (paid) versions offfer greater export capabilities.
If you know someone with purchased licence, you can upload your designs to SketchUp's 3D Warehouse and let them download/export the file for you.
Other than that, your options will always be limited, because alternative 3D modeling tools rarely support SketchUp files without plugin. If you are satisfied with STL format export, you can convert that to OBJ or similar formats, but otherwise STL format is barebone and mostly meant for 3D printing.
