The ITM file extension identifies an uncommon emulator tape format for the Sinclair ZX Spectrum. An ITM file contains the program and data recorded on a virtual tape, allowing an emulator to load software as if it were being read from the original cassette.
ITM files are intended for ZX Spectrum emulation rather than for use as ordinary audio files. Support depends on the emulator.
Open an ITM file with a ZX Spectrum emulator that explicitly supports the ITM format. Use the emulator's tape or file-loading command to insert the file as a virtual cassette, then start or load the program.
If the emulator does not recognise the file, it may support a different ZX Spectrum tape-image format instead. In that case, use an emulator with confirmed ITM support.
