Record marked as obsolete and not updated for a long time.
The TSR Launcher was a fan-made utility for The Sims 3 computer game series that allowed users to install Sims3Pack files without using the launcher supplied by EA.
A tsr file was used by the launcher's download basket function. It most likely served as a container for items saved in that basket, rather than as a playable game file.
The program appears to be no longer available for download. The format is obsolete and is not normally used by current The Sims 3 software.
A tsr file was intended to be handled by the TSR Launcher on Microsoft Windows. It is not a file that The Sims 3 opens directly.
Because the TSR Launcher is obsolete and no longer available for download, there may be no practical way to open this file with current software.
The tsr file was used for the TSR Launcher's download basket, so it is not normally converted as a standalone file.
If the associated Sims3Pack downloads are available separately, they should be installed directly with a compatible The Sims 3 tool instead of converting the TSR file.
