iConomy is a Bukkit plugin that adds an in-game economy to Minecraft multiplayer servers. The UPDATR file extension belongs to the plugin's update mechanism.
The *.updatr file is an update-related file for iConomy rather than a normal player or server data file. It is intended to be handled by the plugin and the Bukkit server environment.
iConomy is associated with Java-based Bukkit servers, which can run on multiple operating systems.
An UPDATR file is normally used by the iConomy plugin within a Bukkit Minecraft server. It is not intended to be opened as a document in a desktop application.
Keep the file with the iConomy plugin files and let the Bukkit server handle it. Do not edit or rename it unless the plugin documentation specifically requires that action.
There is no useful general-purpose conversion for an UPDATR file. It is an update file used by iConomy, not a format intended for export to another file type.
If an update is needed, use the appropriate iConomy plugin update process rather than converting the file manually.
