World of Goo is a puzzle game developed by 2D Boy. Its worldofgoosavedgame file contains saved-game data, including the player's progress.
This is a game-specific save format, not a general-purpose document or interchange format. The Microsoft Windows version of World of Goo reads these files as part of its saved-game system.
The file is intended for use with a compatible Microsoft Windows installation of World of Goo. It is not intended for direct editing, and changing its contents may make the saved game unusable.
Open the worldofgoosavedgame file through World of Goo on Microsoft Windows. The game should load the file through its saved-game functions rather than as a regular document.
No separate text editor or general-purpose file viewer can meaningfully open this file as readable content.
The worldofgoosavedgame file cannot be meaningfully converted to another standard format. It is a game-specific record of progress rather than a document for export.
To retain or transfer progress, keep the original file and use it with a compatible Microsoft Windows installation of World of Goo.
