The FATESAVEDGAME file extension is associated with Fate: Undiscovered Realms, an action role-playing game from WildTangent released in 2005.
A .fatesavedgame file records a saved game position, allowing the game to preserve progress and restore it later. The file is part of the game's save data and is intended to be read by the game rather than edited manually.
The format is designed for the Microsoft Windows version of Fate: Undiscovered Realms and is not a general-purpose save format.
Open the file through Fate: Undiscovered Realms on Microsoft Windows. Start the game and use its load-game option to select the saved position.
If the file was copied from another computer, place it in the game's recognized save-game location so that it appears in the game's load list. Do not rename or edit the file before loading it.
A .fatesavedgame file cannot be meaningfully converted to a standard file format. It contains game-specific progress data that Fate: Undiscovered Realms must interpret.
To use the saved progress, keep the file in its original format. The practical alternatives are to copy or back up the file, or to use the game's own save and load functions.
