The format is associated with the SX-KN6000 electronic keyboard, developed by Technics, a company owned by Panasonic Corporation. An HMP file contains the keyboard's custom memory data.
The format is obsolete and its contents are tied to the SX-KN6000 keyboard's own data-management functions.
Use a compatible Technics SX-KN6000 keyboard to load or restore this file through the keyboard's data-management functions. The file is not normally readable as a document in a Windows, macOS or Linux application.
If the original keyboard is unavailable, there may be no practical way to open the file and view its contents.
The file is intended to be loaded by the original keyboard rather than converted into a standard document format.
Any usable export would need to be performed using the SX-KN6000's own functions, if the required keyboard and compatible storage equipment are available.
