Software that can be used for conversion of dxf file type to skb format.
Sketchup backup files (.skb) may only be "made" in the original program, that is if you backup your files. So the only way to achieve 'dxf to skb conversion' would be to import or open your DXF drawing in Sketchup and then backup the file.
Unfortunately, there is no detailed software record in the database for this conversion.

DXF
Files with dxf extension can be typically found as 2D CAD drawings saved in the Drawing Exchange Format, a common format for exchange of engineering drawings.
Files with dxf extension were associated with Micrografx Picture Publisher. Now this project is discontinued.
SKB
Files with skb extension are backups of .skp graphics files from SketchUp program. Just rename them back to .skp if you need to.
