It has been reported to us that some older Android phones sometimes for unknown reason rename extension of downloaded apk files to txt. i.e. text files.
Simple renaming of the extension back to the original will be sufficient to restore the APK installation package. As for other text to apk conversion options, we unfortunately do not know about any.
Unfortunately, there is no detailed software record in the database for this conversion.
