Microsoft Device Emulator is the publicly released version of the Device Emulator for ARM-based Devices. This emulator is also being released with the Windows Mobile 6 SDK and the Adaptation Kit (AK) releases of Windows Mobile 6 and Windows Embedded CE 6.0.

Microsoft Device Emulator is a desktop application that emulates the behavior of a Windows CE- or Windows Mobile-based hardware platform. When you use the Device Emulator, you can run, test, and debug a run-time image without the need for a physical device.
