What is rsv file? How to open rsv files?
File extension rsv is used for unfinished/damaged/corrupted video recordings saved by Sony digital cameras.
These files are created during recording in case unexpected shutdown, typically power failure, i.e. out of battery power.
While the camera should have a tool to recover these files back to MP4, it does not always work and you have to use recovery tools for that. You can also find several youtube videos about this subject.
