What is rec file? How to open rec files?
File type specification:
File extension rec is traditionally used for game replays in computer games from Relic Entertainment, including the Company of Heroes and Dawn of War series. It is still used in the lest computer game in the series CoH3.
A .rec file contains replay, a saved multiplayer or skirmish match. Can be loaded inside the game when these files are put into CoH replay folder.
Since the same suffix is used for replays from different games, you have to be extra careful when downloading files from sites like gamereplays.org and use them in the right game.
