The customized terrain city data are distributed as special bitmap pictures (BMP file extension) that can be imported in SimCity 3000. Imported customized BMP maps have new file extension SCT and stored in SimCity 3000 terrain city data file format.
To import BMP to the SimCity 3000 press CTRL+SHIT+ALT+A in the game.
