SolidWorks certainly allows import of DWG files, so if any kind of dwg to prtdot conversion is possible, it would be with SolidWorks. We have not found any specific information about such conversion, so if you have issues or some particular problem with such export it would be best to contact SolidWorks support.

DWG
A dwg file extension is used for common CAD file format, originally used by AutoCAD. A DWG is a proprietary format and can only be created in AutoCAD. Other CAD programs can usually import it, but not create its proprietary form. It's because of this, that DWGs are often exported to DXF interchange format, so they can be seamlessly used in other CAD programs.
PRTDOT
A prtdot file extension is related to the SolidWorks and used for its part template files.
