Programs used to perform the conversion from dxf file to pln format.
The only dxf to pln conversion we know of, would be perhaps import of DXF files to ArchiCAD and using the data for making new or existing project (.pln), which is more of a workflow than actual file conversion. But many different file types actually use pln suffix, so perhaps some other also are used for CAD files and such export would be possible.
Unfortunately, there is no detailed software record in the database for this conversion.

DXF
Files with dxf extension can be typically found as 2D CAD drawings saved in the Drawing Exchange Format, a common format for exchange of engineering drawings.
Files with dxf extension were associated with Micrografx Picture Publisher. Now this project is discontinued.
PLN
Files with pln extension can be found as solo project files from ArchiCAD CAD drawing software.
Files with pln file extension may also be found as plugins for Adobe InDesign, a desktop publishing software.
Files with pln file extension can be also found as flight plan data files for Microsoft Flight Simulator civil planes simulation computer game.
Files with pln file extension can be also found as architecture design files saved in Home Plan Pro home design software.
Files with pln extension can be also found as spreadsheets from either ancient PlanPerfect or just old Corel WordPerfect.
