If any kind of dwg to plmxml conversion is possible, it would be export of CAD/3D modeling data between standard DWG format and PLNXML format. Unfortunately, we have not been able to find any specifics about such conversion or export, just that it should be doable.

DWG
Files with dwg extension are used for the original CAD format originally introduced in Autodesk AutoCAD. The latest version of DWG format is usuaually proprietary and can only be created in AutoCAD. Other CAD programs can usually import it but not create its proprietary form. Because of this, DWGs are often exported to DXF interchange format so that they can be seamlessly used in other CAD programs.
PLMXML
Files with plmxml file extension can be found as product data files meant for high content transfer over the Internet. Based on W3C XML schemas.
