EMS file extension - Revolution EMSA spectrum data

What is ems file? How to open ems files?

File type specification:

Graphics file type icon Graphics file type

The ems file extension was also used for a special Revolution EMSA spectrum  file format. Revolution is a 4JP proprietary format. It allows graphical objects to be embedded in an image.

This allows objects (e.g., micron markers and line profiles) to be moved or removed from an image after it is acquired.

This ems file type entry was marked as obsolete and no longer supported file format.

This type of file is no longer actively used and is most likely obsolete. This is typically the case for system files in old operating systems, file types from long discontinued software, or previous versions of certain file types (like documents, projects etc.) that were replaced in higher versions of their original programs.

Help how to open:

Use compatible tools to work with *.ems files.

How to convert:

Probably can be exported to other formats.
